Medisat A/S develops heath care products. Our vision is to modernize health care services by introducing telemedical solutions to various patient groups.

Our key objective is to make it easy to be “admitted to your own home”. We always focus on user-friendliness, when developing our products.

The Patient Briefcase shortens the patients’ admittance period and increases their feeling of security and general well-being upon discharge. The Patient Briefcase has been operating as a project since 2006 at OUH Svendborg Hospital, and Medisat has now signed a 4-year operating agreement with Region of Southern Denmark.

As of January 1st. 2013 1.716 patients have experienced the Patient Briefcase and more than 16.000 telemedical treatments have been completed. This equals a world record for the Region of Southern Denmark and OUH Odense University Hospital-Svendborg Hospital in the treatment of COPD patients in their own homes with the Patient Briefcase. In a newly published report from the Danish Business Authority (DBA) on public/private cooperation, the innovative cooperation between Medisat and OUH-Svendborg Hospital in developing the Patient Briefcase was highlighted.
