Medisat is a technological company that operates as a supplier to the Danish health sector. We develop health care products, and our vision is to modernise the health service by introducing telemedical solutions to different groups of patients. We set current to the way of working in the health service, and develop innovative solutions that make it easier to be a patient.
In Medisat we would like to alter the health service with our IT knowledge, and we want to raise both the health care standards and the standards for the patients. We want to create beds in the hospitals and improve the patients’ quality of life. We succeed in doing that by developing products that:
· shorten the patients’ submittance period
· increase the patients’ security after discharge
· increase the security of the patients’ relatives
When we develop the telemedical solutions we always focus on user-friendliness. That’s because we want to make it as easy as possible to be submitted at home. The telemedical solutions are often developed in close collaboration with practicing doctors from Odense University Hospital, thus making sure that the solutions are reliable and perfect.
Our target group is patients that are often submitted for a longer period – elderly people and the chronic sick in particular. At Medisat we want to enable these patients to spend as big a part of the submittance period as possible at home. Medisat was founded in 2002. Today, the company consists of two departments: one in Ballerup and one in Odense. The main office is situated in Odense.
